Working Bee
Working bee - Saturday 22 March, 9.30am - 3.30pm
We have a working bee planned for Saturday 22 March at the Hall - even if you only have a few hours available we would love your help! We have a to-do list for both inside and outside activities. Please come with gardening gloves and implements for weeding or appropriate clothes for painting prep and/or touch ups. As an added bonus WCC has provided us with funding as part of neighbours month for some kai to share on the day. We hope we see you there!
Invitation to public workshop: Priorities for Wellington’s next 10-year plan
Help us shape Wellington City Council’s 2024-34 Long-term Plan
We’re creating our next Long-term Plan, for 2024–2034. This will set the direction for our city for the next 10 years, outlining what the Council will be investing in, how much it all costs, and how this will be funded.
We will need to make some hard decisions, balancing investment with affordability, and ensuring we keep up our momentum by focusing on what is most important to Wellingtonians.
We want to plan this with you – what should your city look like in 2034 and what should the Council be doing?
You’re warmly invited to come along to one of our public workshops below, to find out more about the Long-term Plan and tell us what you think we should be prioritising in key areas including our natural environment, economy, urban form, culture, and community.
If you’re unable to make it to the workshop, you can still tell us what’s important to you by taking our quick survey. (Closes 21 May 2023.)
Your feedback will help inform the strategic direction for the plan. As planning progresses, there will be more opportunities to have your say later in the year.
